How do I get my 3com 574 NIC to work?

I have a 3com 574 NIC card and I'm running Debian and I was wondering how I can configure it step by step to get it to work on my LAN.

Did you try a forum search here using the terms "3com 574"?

Or, did you try a Google For Linux (http://www.google.com/linux) search using the same terms?

Most likely, someone has your card, and has had to configure it as well.

Is this a card that has specific problems with Linux, or do you not know how to set up network cards in general?

I actually did search google already without much luck and I know the card works with Linux I just am not sure how to set it up in general. I checked and Debian includes drivers for the card with the system or whatever.
