Hi, i recently just bought a Linksys 802.11b wireless router with an adapter for a laptop. Now i'm in the market to buy a wireless card for my desktop. Any suggestion as to which one is a good one to get and affordable? I saw the Linksys WDT11. It's cheap! But i'm not sure about performance. Any suggestions are welcome!

Before you spend any money, search these forums, linux wireless sites, and Google For Linux (I can't remember where I heard that before:confused: ) and make SURE the card has stable drivers for linux. The Orinoco chipsets are pretty well supported. Linksys and Dlink keep switching chipsets and the newer chipsets (even in the older models they'll start using a different chipset) may not be supported.

It's a bit more expensive, but if you find you are having trouble finding Linux drivers, you can always use the Linksys WET11. Its the wireless brige they have. I used it on my laptop while I waited for its card to come in and now I have it hooked up to my Xbox with out any problems.
