Gentoo 1.4 cd

I buy a gentoo 1.4 2 cd .Would i need to download anything off the internet?



I got them from the web page.

if you don't use the GRP (pre compiled) binaries then yes, everything is installed from the Internet.

if you use GRP then you will still have to download a lot from the Internet as only a few "main" things are GRPed - KDE, XFree, etc.
