I want Gnome but Mandrake keeps booting straight into KDE, its anoying to log out every time. ive tried to change to gnome under UserDrake but it doesnt seem to work.

You should be able to choose it from your graphical login screen, if it is. AussieJohn 08-19-2003, 12:39 PM Try going into Mandrake Control Center and select BOOT then select DrakBoot. Under "System Mode" you will see a Radio Button in "No,..........etc". Move the Radio Button to "Yes,.....etc". This wil liven the greyed out UserName and KDE. Change KDE to Gnome and then return the Radio Button to the "No,......etc" position. Click on OK. and so on then reboot. Hope this does the trick for you.
