Also as a sidebar, does anyone know how to add delete components from the redhat menus?

I'm trying to remove the various open office components from the 'office' sub menu.

As a sidebar, I just finished installing star office 6 and redhat magically added star office entries to the office section of the menu(menu is the little windoze like bar that pops up when you click on the hat), I'm impressed/curious...
Does anyone know how redhat figured where to add these entries?

We need to know what Window Manager you are using. The default in RedHat is gnome. Is that what you are using?

Sorry, should have mentioned that. It is redhat gnome...

check under ~./.gnome or ~/.gnome2 ... that's usually where these menu items end up...

As for editing there is no easy method:

Hope this helps.
