Well right now i try to install gentoo1.4 , according to help file witch was in CD, i try to install stage 3+GRP because i dont ned internet , but when i have to install kernel, i think so, with this comand
emerge -k sys-kernel/gentoo-sources
system want's to download it , but can't connect, according to help file for install stage 3 i dont need internet
plz help me to install it

Gentoo has alot of problem with that.
Where are your packages? They should be in /usr/portage/packages/All . If there not move them there. Make sure you copied everythign over. There was a couple typos in the install guide.
Your not going to get GNOME up, maybe not kde. You need a internet connection. Some one put a new package in the iso, so now it has to download the newer source. Its a couple so you cant cheat and do it yourself.
If your angry about this like I am goto Gentoo and post something. Maybe there actuallg get around to fixing it.
*Yeah, Im still angry about being told fixing this isnt a priority.

the problem was that i printed help file and could not use function click here.
