I am running Red Hat 9 on an Athlon XP 2400 with 768mb DDRAM and a GF3 Ti500.

I cant really remember exaclty what I did, but I was trying to install nvidia drivers and was ctrl-alt-backspacing my way out of X (While logged into KDE, which in retrospect seems like a bad idea)

Anyway, now when I boot into KDE al the text (even the KDE loading screen) is just little boxes like this:

□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□

Everything else seems ok. Its like this regardless of what user I log in as or kernel version (and I never did get those drivers installed)

Comeone, every moment I use Windows XP I feel dirty and vulnerable. I need some help so I can get back to linux asap.

Might be quicker just to reinstall, thats a little more interactive then waiting for a reply :P

Did you finish installing the nvidia drivers? Any intresting errors in /var/log/Xfree86.0.log?
