MythTV or Freevo?

Ok, I've been searching the boards but I can't seem to find any pertinent posts... if there are any feel free to link to them.

Basically what I am looking for is a pros and cons of MythTV vs Freevo for making my own DVR/PVR system. Is one easier to install? MythTV says it has commercial skipping features :) ... How good are they? Does freevo have something similar? I couldn't find anything about it on their website.

Has anybody had good/terrible luck with one or the other? I'm just curious for people's comments before I go and spend big $$ to make a DVR.

I have used both and i like Myth. Why, it has more features I like to have it all in a DB.
For the commercial skipping it work ok.
easier to install? Freevo as it has all "no external dependencies"
I should also say i have not used Freevo in two months.

Mythtv has step by step Info and i have had no issues with set up.

Just so you know i run my BAckend and front end of myth on a pIII 933 512meg ram. on suse 8.2 and Mysql on a small server and it work great and i am happy with it.
