Well i think the subject explains it pretty well. I want to remove the shortcuts (windows term i know. im new) to the Cd-Rom and floppy drive.
Any help is appreciated.

Cheers, Rasmus

How about right-clicking on them and moving them to the trash?

Maybe i am clicking the right button wrong but there are no option to delete when i press the right button on them, neither can i delete them by selecting them and pressing del. If i drag & drop them into the trash i get two options.

1) to copy it there
2) to link it there

Those are stored in one of the KDE configuration files though I'm not sure which.

See if this thread (http://justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=95786&highlight=delete+desktop+icon) helps.

I made it.

I removed them this way:

Start app menu
Configuration
Control Center
Look N Feel
Behavior

It should be pretty easy from that point on
