...Moving to Window Managers, as it pertains to themes.
What Window Manager are you using? Gnome? KDE? Windowmaker? There are a bunch of them, and we'd need to know specifically which one you use.
A google search for this has a lot of results, but they're mostly directories of themes to download. They don't have pics or descriptions. Try this site for themes: http://themes.freshmeat.net/ . It's also hard to find you themes because you never mentioned the version of GNOME you use and I'm not familiar with Red Hat 7.1. Some themes only work on certain versions. I think the latest it GNOME 2.2, but I use KDE as my GUI and Redhat 7.1 came out before I began using Linux, so I'm not sure what version of GNOME it has. I'm guessing it's prombably 2.0 It should say somewhere. When you find out that, it should be a bit easier to find them.
If you really want cool themes, KDE is probably a better bet if your computer can handle it. KDE should be available on the RH 7.1 discs. I've seen some good themes for GNOME, but KDE has the mother lode of awesome themes. A KDE program called Karamba looks really cool if you want a killer desktop enviornment. But, I'm guessing that it's resource heavy, so I stick with the regular KDE, which is still pretty bad. I'll probably want to use a different GUI like Fluxbox when I play games, or maybe just load the games without x.
