KDE "saving sessions"

Is it possible to have kde save it's session similar to how Gnome does?Basically what I mean is I always have gkrellm kde news ticker and gaim running. Instead of opening each at the begining of the session is it possible to have them automatically open?

Do you not have a 'save session' option when you logout of KDE or the option available in the KDE Control Center?

Mine is in System/Session Manager/Restore previous session when loggin in.

Just have a look around the KDE Control Center to familiarize yourself with the options you have available to you.
