First I tried rox but it wouldn't allow me to execute any programs on mounted hard drives (vfat) even though my permissions were fine, etc.

Then I tried endeavour but it wouldn't compile properly and the debian package wouldn't work.

Then I searched and searched and after a long while found this little gem:

http://www.roland65.ovh.org/xfe/xfe.html

Drag and drop support and extremely easy to setup mime types. (right click-> open with-> type in name of program-> check box to remember settings if needed-> done)

Great stuff :D

Just posted in case anyone else is looking for one.

No I haven't. But judging by the screenies I don't think I want to. ;)

xfe also has the ability to be dual pane.
It can also be single pane.
It can also display stuff as large icons, small icons, or in a 'detail' view.
It also has a 'tree'.
Also has something called bookmarks- like a browser but records your favorite directories.

I love this prog :D
