Hey everybody,

I am looking for a good Linux alternative to PalmOS on my Palm m130 (of the m100 series). Does anyone have any ideas because I am really interested in possibly installing Linux and developing apps.

Also, I am using SuSE 8.2 on my box. Is there any good Palm programs for synching and such, possibly a virtual desktop?

The Sharp Zaurus is a PDA with a built-in Linux OS.
There is a project for putting a linux OS on the Compaq series of hand-helds (normally runs portable Windoze), but AFAIK none for replacing PalmOS.
Lots of utilities for syncing PalmOS to linux desktop, including KPilot, gnome-pilot. It is actually possible to replicate all the syncing functions of MS Outlook in Ximian Evolution, plus read you e-mail etc. Have a look at Ximian website.
Good luck
