I have looked around but was wondering if there is a decent Windows Media player 9 codec for Xine. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

On the other hand, you might luck out using windows media player with wine. I think your best bet, though, is to search google for a conversion utility to change the file to a divx or some such instead (though you may still need a winblows machine to run one) undeadska 07-16-2003, 09:33 PM Rats.... OK, thanks for the input. I was searching all over on G4L and not pulling up anything close to my question. mumble, mumble, ... stupid microsoft... mumble mumble... JayMan8081 07-22-2003, 08:41 AM Go to the following site and follow the online instructions there. The 0.52 version of the w32 codec RPM includes support for WMV9. I've been trying to get the win32codec for my Xandros4 but archlug.org seems to be down. justlinux.com
