WMV9 Codec for Xine

I have looked around but was wondering if there is a decent Windows Media player 9 codec for Xine. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about a plugin for xine, but I do know that through the use of some MS dll files, mplayer is able to play wmv files.

I'm pretty sure there isn't one, since microsoft owns the windows media formats and they're in no hurry to let linux have them...
On the other hand, you might luck out using windows media player with wine. I think your best bet, though, is to search google for a conversion utility to change the file to a divx or some such instead (though you may still need a winblows machine to run one)

Go to the following site and follow the online instructions there. The 0.52 version of the w32 codec RPM includes support for WMV9. Good luck!

How is this done? I've been trying to get the win32codec for my Xandros4 but archlug.org seems to be down.
