I mostly use KDE, but I just installed XFCE 4.0 RC1 and have started to play around with it and I use Fluxbox on occasion.

Openbox 2.2.3. I had to go with the older version because my video card doesn't like going to console with the newer version for some reason.

Bah! Sissies -- I use twm!

Yes, the window manager that comes with the basic XFree86 installation. The one with almost no features. The one that requires you to place each individual window, yourself (at least popup-spamming gets stopped dead in its tracks, though... ;)).

So sue me! :p

Though I do have the KDE libs installed, along with a couple of the Gnome libs, just for the rare program that needs them. But I do have a few (programs that need them, that is). I also have kdegames installed, for when I need a kmines and kpat break from other stuff.

(And no, this post should in no way be taken as a recommendation that you try it, unless you think it'd be nifty yourself... then add twm & to your xinitrc script, make SURE you have a couple of terminals running from the same script, and make sure that one of them is the last line -- when you exit that xterm, X will shut down too.)

 Well, ya know, if that's what you like. I myself enjoy at least a little bit of eye candy.
