This article (http://www.usatoday.com/tech/techinvestor/techcorporatenews/2003-07-13-microsoft-linux-munich_x.htm) in the USA Today talks about how Linux beat out Microsoft for a very large bid in Munich. In the article it also talks about the reasons Linux was chosen over other systems. Hopefully other cities will follow this example. I found it quite interesting.

I've heard a lot of Windows users complaining about how they have to constantly send their money to Microsoft for upgrades; these are the best Windows users since they gladly switch to Linux :p

Oh, yeah, and one of my friend's top reasons for switching to Linux is Tux (He's no computer expert)

I lost my win98 2nd edition cd last year.... so I call up MS and want to order another one... 100$ plus 35$ shipping.. and the ****ing thing was already 2 years old.
People are going to pay MS these outrageous prices for much longer which you can get all of what MS offers and more with linux.

On the Tux note... who can resist that little penguin?
