Samba: I can share files, but printer doesn't work

Hi,

I had Samba working on this machine, but I swapped some hard drives, and had to reinstall RH9. I saved the working smb.conf file, so it shouldn't be causing any problems. The printer is set up and working from the local computer, and I can share a directory without any problems, but when I try to share the printer, nothing happens. There are no errors from the Windows machine at all.

The /var/log/messages and the /var/log/samba/* files show nothing out of the ordinary, except for /var/log/samba/log.nmbd.

Here are the last few lines of log.nmbd:

I can print test pages from CUPS and I can also print from smbclient, but I still can't print from Windows. I tried installing the drivers on two different Windows XP machines, and neither could print across the network. There is nothing new in /var/log/ pertaining to Samba, and the Windows machines still don't report an error.

I can also print from another RH9 machine on the network using smbclient. I tried "printmode text" and "printmode graphics", and they both worked. (I tested with a small .txt file and a .png icon)
