ya I can't hit it either, well linus is a little behind the set date for release. Would not surprise me if 2.6 was being put up. I'm really looking forward it, and have been for some time now.

In the "site news" section, they have this:
April 2, 2003: We have gotten reports that www.kernel.org is occationally slow in responding. We are trying to resolve the problem, however, in the meantime, the FTP server does not have this problem. Could this be the problem? -- it wasn't down, just slow?

I have the same problem with www.kernel.org during the day, but when I checked early this morning, it was very fast.
Sometimes you just need to be a bit more patient with some of the Linux related sites since Linux is gaining popularity. :)
