I have squirrel webmail installed during the installation of rh 9.0.
however after reading the squirrel mail doc. I do not where is web page to
register myself as administration or just a common user.
can u help?
I can see http://www.my-site.com/webmail/src/login.php
read the documentation on the squirrelmail web site. it is more than adequate at explaining how to admin squirrelmail; most of which is done via command line in the squirrelmail directory.

have you ever read any documentation before you have posted a question here? it seems to me like you just want everyone else here to do your job for you.
PS: the link you posted redirects me to some sort of ebay hatemail site.

I get the same redirect.
And yes you should try reading the documentation that is either available on their website or installed with the application. That is why the author writes the documentation to begin with. To help with setup and configuration.

I have read the doc. it is taken from there.
But I will correct it. now.
however I also updated to 1.41 version. it is silly to work with a old version.
I do not know why rh do with 9.0 that bundled with such old version of squirrelmail.
well the installation sucks.

I didn't even know squirrelmail came with RH9..guess I should have read around.
Anyway I downloaded and installed squirrelmail lastnight and it took around 10 minutes till it was running. Then I played with plugins. The documentation for squirrelmail is pretty good.

actually I go the php program and altered the first logo myself.
I also discovered their config.pl that work in very limited area.
I need to know how to add myself as administration and I tried a few user and root account and I can't even login and nothing can be done. so I have to voice out this justlinux.
can u help?
there is no SquirrelMail "administrator". it is a web-based front end to whatever IMAP Server you are running.
if you can't log in as a regular user then there is something wrong with your configuration. re-read the documentation.

If you can access your email on that server from an email client like Evolution or Mozilla Mail, then simply enter the same settings into conf.pl and you'll be able to log on to your server via a webpage as if you were using your email client. Convenient for checking email away from your computer.
