Hey I just got approached by one of my co-workers and asked a Macinstosh question. I'll explain in a sec... it seems that werd is gettin' `round that I am a computer guru `cause I use Linux at home and at werk...

Anyhow, the question acually came from a customer that is using a Macintosh, I am assuming an old 8.0 OS version. Anyhow they are logging into thier account on our network so they can download some .csv files they have purchased. The problem is (PEBKAC) that the lady clicks on the link and she says that there is no pop-up window prompting her to save the file.

So the solution(s) I gave for now are:
1. Click while holding the CTRL key
2. Click while holding the SHIFT key
3. Click while holding the ALT key
4. Select the link then press ENTER
5. Check in the /tmp (or Mac equivelant) and look for the file

So any of you older Mac users here, am I on the right track? I am waiting to obtain her OS version so I can add that to the question. Thank You!

My first question would be what browser is she using?

The <Ctrl> key should work, but if you're using Internet Explorer, which is on most Macs, just holding down the mouse button over the link instead of clicking will bring up a menu with the option to download selected link.
