I saw this on Google news and thought it was a nice review- from an impartial reviewer:
Charles Arthur on Linux (http://news.independent.co.uk/digital/features/story.jsp?story=423008). He had tried Debian earlier and decided to try again with Mandrake.

i just read that (off of your link) and i liked what he said... for me just thinking about linux while using windows will cheer me up no end...

the feeling of freedom.. its a wonderful thing isnt it....

i agree with what he said about the network cable crap... the software that came with my dlink network adaptor says that there is a high quality, string signal from the hub (we have a home wireless network), and winxp's network thing will be saying 'no connection'.. and the box doesnt fade away like most things... it just sits there until u agnolige it..

linux forever!!
