I have installed RH9.0 several times. For some reason the system will show ' grub : ' or LI at the bottom of the screen while loading and it will just sit there....It will not continue with the OS loading. The only way I can get linux to load is by rebooting the system and inserting the boot floppy disk i created during intallation.
Could someone tell me what in the world is going on??

Thank you all!

Could you please tell us a little about your hardware, your HD's, your partitions and where eveything is installed or else we will not be able to provide you with any suggestions.

Dualbooting? Where is Windows installed? Where did you install the Linux bootloader?

Thanks

Since you have a separate boot partition, it would seem the Linux bootloader is installed in /boot.

Is /boot set as the active partition?

Please post the contents of your bootloader config depending on which you are using

/etc/lilo.conf

/boot/grub/grub.conf

so we can check the configuration.
