This is wierd but I can't post to JL from my home systems... the submit post page just hangs and finally times out... any ideas on what could be causing this? I've tried several different browsers (even IE... yikes!) but no luck... I've posted from home before... this has happened recently... Just not sure what to do about it...

Sounds familiar.
Either you do not have cookies enabled (which I doubt) or you need to adjust the MTU/MRU value.
Does that ring a bell with anyone?

I would tell you how I fixed it, but it will cost you. :D
I adjusted the 'nut' between the keyboard and the computer.

lupin_the_3rd is still having the same problem.
Does anyone remember other members posting about the same problem? It was quite a few months ago.

I'm at work... hence the post ;)
I searched for MTU/MRU values and found a post relating to PPP... my connection is through eth0... are these the same or does etho use PPP. My isp uses PPPoe for certain. Can I adjust these values for that. Right now on DSL my MTU was around 512 (which seems low since that is the value for dial-up). I'm confused here and need some assisstance... I'll keep searching though...

Since I use neither and unless another member knows or remembers that other thread, try adjusting those values in your PPPoE config.
Brian Broffitt may have been involved in that solution. Perhaps he will see this thread.
<edit>
Search the entire JL forum area for 'mtu mru' and you will find lots of settings to try.
