I doubt that many, if any, here have worked with the new ZenWorks products but Novell, but what the heck:

The new imaging system with Novell ZenWorks (it works like Norton ghost in some respects, and also serves to store policy rules on the hard drive) makes a Linux partition on the hard drive. The install of Linux it uses is very standard, like Debian, but chopped down. My question relates to a specific error: "No proxy server found". It is alluding to the proxy server that delivers images and changes to the policy set.

I did mad searching but couldn't find a config file that stores the directives that point to the proxy. I configured IP and DNS correctly, and was able to ping anything.

Any ideas?

Did you setup Zen to deliver from a proxy server?

Yes, the admin in charge of ZenWorks did.

You will need to get that proxy info before you can continue.

Man, this is an old one, but I was searching around and saw it and figured that I should wrap it up.

The "proxy server" as it relates to ZENworks is the Netware server with ZENworks for desktops installed on it, and either holds the images (.ZMG files, compressed images of a computer) that you are trying to create, or stores the ones you want to pull down.

I wasn't recieving the error because of incorrect DNS settings or because I was pointing to the wrong IP address. I was getting the error because the account that I was using didn't have enough space available on the volume to store the image. Just something to know in case you ever have that problem.
