Man, just how far is old Bill will to go to pry into our lives. First the proposal for laptops in portapotties, and now this. Hopefully Bill's dream of having Microsoft influence our lives in everyway won't come true.

Think about it for a second. You wake up from your uncomfortable Microsoft bed to watch the news on your Microsoft TV run by a Microsoft cable station. Then you put on your Microsoft clothes and drive your car with Microsoft navigational tools and Windows ME installed. Then you have to run a register at wonderful LJS made by Microsoft and running Windows ME. Of course, the whole system would have to crash at least once a day. In reality, it usually crashes at least once a month with our crappy register networked program for DOS. Either way, it's still Microsoft running wonderful LJS. Then you have to serve the Microsoft drones with there Microsoft bling bling. Then you have to get back in your Microsoft car and drive home to go to sleep on your Microsoft bed.

Worst off, this proposal doesn't even try to sound like Microsoft is offering anything new.

That toilet thing was a hoax. It was announced as such a little after the original story.

At first it was reported to be a hoax but Microsoft later admitted that it had been real. First link I could find was this:
