Over the last few years, I noticed that download.com was Linux sensitive. Such that, if one surfs on into their site, they'd have a special page for just linux downloads. Even a month ago, it was so. But now, when I go into the site, it loads the standard windows site. There are no links for linux downloads. It's boring searching the site through advanced searches.

Has anyone encountered similarities? If not, could you please paste an exact link on a reply so I may bookmark it? Thank you. This is the one I get:

Perhaps they suddenly decided to drop linux support...

Yep, I noticed exactly the same problem. No clue what's going on.

Hmm. That sucks. I hope they bring it back.

Thank you. It worked. I must find an email address to send them an advisory about the problem.

Personally, I've never found download.com's Linux section all that useful.

Why not check out www.freshmeat.net? It's devoted to open source projects.
