Samba problems

Samba is up and running on my RH9 server, and the windows 2000 client can see the server when trying to get a connection to it. BUT when I try and access it, Windows say that the sever doesn't exist adn can't be connected to.

I check out the samba log file and it says that it cannot access passdb. A quick find of RH9 reveals that this file isn't anywhere.

What's going on?

Scratch that, I got it working after I enabled the guest user.

With the MyGroup main directory, I have given several users permission to open the folder with their passwords. However, when user passwords are entered correctly, they are rejected by the server. Any ideas?
