I wonder if the admins can tell us how many members have 20 posts or less and have not been here for over 1 month.

46170 users have made 20 posts or less. 990 of those users have actually made posts in the last month.

A quick search in the members list gave me 793 results for 20 or less posts and joined after 07 May 2003.

I was curious because it seems many threads I have either tried to help with or made comments about never actually get resolved, which leads me to believe that many new linux users either don't get help here, or get the wrong information, and give up. I see a lot of responses with bad and wrong information, but maybe that is OT.

Good information is hard to find after all. This is not a good night for me, I guess.

Maybe there should be a quota, but it probably shouldn't be anymore than once a month.

I have been using linux for over a year, been registered on here for some time & have hardly made any posts - is there a point to this? I'm not a complete newbie & have successfully helped a few people - I read the posts & they help me find some of the answers that I've been hunting for. In the end I get that much more experience with my system & am MUCH happier than when I ever ran winblows:D
