We've recently purchases 6 dell 4550's, and installed linux red had 9.0, but it red hat isn't detecting our broadcom nic's. I've downloaded the lnx.exe file and tried that, I get to where I run the insmod bcm5700, and it tells me that the device isn't present, but it is being seen in the hardware profiles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the message i'm getting

[mschu@localhost mschu]# insmod bcm5700
Using /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/bcm5700.o
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/bcm5700.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

I've tried searching dell's forums, as well as just linux, but I'm still in the same place.

Thanks for any help

Well, I've tried doing those thing but i'm still not getting the system to recognize the card. I'm getting that it sees the PCI card from the control center. But its not shown as an option as hardware under the network devices.
