Sounds more like a Sm@rt@$$ satire designed to steer people away from Linux with an underlying message that Linux is a complicated geek-centro mess, and that only black-trenchcoat-clad Matrix-wannabe antisocial cyber-geeks can be well versed in it.

But it was amusing

It's funny. It's not obviously not aimed at Joe-blow user. It shows a lighter side of the open source community. I think it's more positive than negative.

It kinda reminds me of the funny animations over at Camp Chaos (http://campchaos.com)
