Tuning default MDK9.1 desktop manager?

Folks,

I recently thought of getting all the useless crap off my MDK9.1 default installation. I looked at installed packages and figured that I have 'kdm', 'gdm' and 'mdkkdm' installed.

Now the question is, how do I figure out which one of them is active right now, and how do I change that.

PS: also would like to know what *dm do you prefer. GDm looks best for me so far....

Go into the mandrake menu -> Configureation->Mandrake Control Center -> hardware ->Display Manager Chooser

I personally am using GDM on all of my boxes.

Doh, it was pretty obvious option, how did i missit :S Thanks alot!
Btw, any doc explaining difference between those?
