I need to switch keyboard layouts often within the day and the Gnome keyboard switcher applet has always been very handy for that. However, in a new install of RedHat 9, when I first tried to set it up, it died on me and since that time, I can't get it into the panel. Every time I try to add it to the panel, a window pops up that says: "The Keyboard Layout Switcher applet appear to have died unexpectly. Reload this applet?"
If I click 'yes', the same window opens again and so on.
Is there anyway to repair the applet? Can I reinstall just the applet? Or do I have to reinstall the whole system again?
