Ok, i have burned RedHat 9 ISO images onto bootable discs via nero. Now, i have changed my boot priorities in BIOS to 1. Atapi CD ROM 2. Hard Drive. My problem is that my D: drive does not work (it doesnt detect cds) and my e: drive is external USB. So when i pop my iso 1 disc into the E drive and try to bootup it just boots windows. Does it not detect the bootable disc in my external e:drive? What should i do, i am in need of help! - EnSanity

Do you have an option in your BIOS to boot from a USB device?
Most definitely, I'd check to see if that's possible. If it isn't, you'll have to download boot floppy images for your distribution with USB support, boot from the floppies, and tell the installer what device the CD-ROM is actually at. It should autodetect the USB CD-ROM if the boot floppy has USB support, though.
