linux and microphones

are there any decent programs out there that allow Linux users to talk to others (including non-linux users) with headsets? Windoes has roger wilco, and yahoo messenger for example. What is available for linux in this field?

There is one that I know of it's called TeamSound and their next release will have support for Linux.
