requirements for kde over ssh

for my p100 i wanted to run some gui configuration tools, but since the machine is headless i'd have to do it through ssh. i know that for kde they recommend 64 mb ram but does this change if its not being rendered on that computer? i don't really need to the kde desktop just to run a few kde apps.

you don't need very much RAM if you are going to do X over ssh.

how much RAM do you have? i doubt you even need 32 MB.

PS: i have ssh set up to refuse connections for root, so i set up a "normal" user with sudo for any of the commands i need to use a GUI for over SSH with my server (Tapeware Admin). </edit>
