whenever I do:
startxfce
or
gdm
it just takes a long time to load. this has happened since I installed wacom drivers on my Gentoo system. I did this by making the following as modules:
input
hid
mousedev
evdev
wacom
then I took the Gentoo-sources kernel's default wacom driver, and replaced them with the drivers that come with the latest wacom drivers on sourceforge.
so any ideas what might be causing this?
never mind guys, I fixed it:
turns out my XF86Config file had the optical mouse written to load as the CorePointer. I stopped using it since I installed wacom. So I took it out, and enabled my wacom mouse as the core pointer
