This might sound a bit simple here or at least from someone who has never used any linux Os porgrams. My question is, if I do go and get either red hat or mandrake, would I be able to just get the program on a cd and have it run and let it install all by its self, would it work. And if it does, would I be able to learn it as i use it once it is installed on my WiXpPro?

Take a look at http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/
( x86 Installation Guide * Getting Started Guide * System Administration Primer * Customization Guide ...). Each Linux disributor has a some sort of documentation on their website.
The idea is that you know your computer a little. Check your hardware against the RedHat/Mandrake hardware compatibility list. Pay attention to your videocard, USB devices. integrated devices (these cause trouble sometimes).
Once you learn your hardware, get a copy of Partition Magic (or something alike), partition you hardrive (just resize your Windows as to leave at least 3 GB of free space at the end of your hardrive).
Set the BIOS to boot from your CD-ROM (usually by disabling the HD). Insert the Instalation CD and ... :)
Good luck.

P.S. Disregard my English.

Your english is perfect, but my knowledge of this new Os is scary non exitant. I just want to do the right thing and have fun at it.

Some distros have a quick tour kind of things, but to my knowledge, they don't walk you through the Linux commands. They just show you KDE and their pretty faces.
