I just installed Red Hat 7.3 - all went well except that Lilo didn't install and the mouse isn't working.

First things first - how do I do a command line install of the proper mouse driver? The one that came up as default during the installation wasn't my mouse type, so I selected Microsoft Intellimouse (based on an installation tip I read earlier today for scroll mouses.) Is there a file I can edit to specify just the most rudimentary 2-button mouse?

Thanks,
Nick

Get to a console (Ctrl-Alt-F1)

type redhat-config-mouse

I think thats what its named. It might be mouseconfig, not sure really)

That should give you a tool to change mouse settings.

Oh, and you gotta be root to do this.
