I have been attempting to compile and install samba on my RH9 box. The configure process completes with no errors. However, during the make process, it fails when it comes to smbwrapper. I use --with smbwrapper as a configuration option. When I remove this option and go the process it completes successfully. This is the same configuration script that I used on my RH8 box with no issues. Is this broken with RH9, or is there something else I am missing here?

i find using the package installer fast and easy. u can find it in the kmenu but i would like to know the definition of wrappers (smbwrapper)plz .

also is there a update to smb that ur trying to compile or is that just the way you chose to install it curious

Here is the definition that I have:

It allows Linux executables to access SMB partitions as if they were standard Linux partitions.

I am unsure the version of glibc in RH8, but I know there is an update for it on RH9. In previous versions it caused some compatibility issues. It may not be a big deal, I just wanted to know what could of changed to cause the error.
